SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE
Penggunaan will & going to pada simple future tense
Kata will dan going to digunakan untuk menyatakan rencana di masa depan. Will dan going to sama-sama berarti akan. Perbedaan will dan going to terletak pada kepastian aktifitas tersebut akan dilaksanakan. Going to digunakan untuk aktivitas atau sebutlah rencana yang lebih pasti akan terjadi di masa depan. Saya ambil contoh:
- I will go to New York.
Kalimat di atas berarti “Saya akan pergi ke Kota New York.” Hanya saja tidak diketahui kapan perginya dan belum melakukan persiapan perjalanan.
- I am going to go to New York.
Kalimat di sini masih berarti “saya akan pergi ke kota New York.” dan sudah melakukan persiapan seperti sudah mengemas barang-barang, memesan tiket dan lain sebagainya.
Agar lebih mudah dipahami. Berikut adalah contoh lain penggunaan kata will dan going to dalam kalimat positive, negatif dan kalimat tanya.
